A bit about me...

I've been an educator for over 30 years and am passionate about any and every possibility that can improve student engagement, creativity, and learning. Essential to me is the inclusion of the arts in education.

I received my Bachelor's in Music Education and my Master's in Educational Technology from Texas Tech University.

I completed my doctorate in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University in 2019.

I am an Instructional Technology Specialist at Tumwater School District and past Tech Coordinator at McCleary School District. I have been an adjunct instructor at ESD 113, Seattle Pacific University, and St. Martin's University.

Walks with my Newfoundland, Seamus, are a favorite pastime, as well as reading, quilting, creating art, my cats, and, of course, my family!
